The biggest reason why aliens would come down to earth and hate humanity would be down to how people use Twitter.
Imagine, if you could, an extremely fun and addictive social stadium. A physical space that has lots of humor, heartfelt moments and is filled with people you know. Now imagine if that place had the stench of garbage 24/7. Imagine if someone could be kicked out randomly. Imagine if you could buy influence with money, and it costs very little. Imagine if the entire system was openly corrupt, yet people still pretended like it mattered. Some of you reading this may like the chaotic nature of such an area, and even though there is obvious corruption, the aesthetic of being able to see the perspective of "anyone" and interact with them may be nice.
